SGX-listed Sheng Siong Group has added all of its house brand products on Price Kaki.
Price Kaki is a mobile app developed by the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case). The app lets users check the prices of items in supermarkets, among its other features.
According to a July 1 release, Sheng Siong is the first supermarket to make available all its house brand grocery products on Price Kaki in the midst of recent consumer concerns over inflationary pressures and cost of living issues.
Over 950 Sheng Siong house brand products, which include daily essentials such as cooking oil, rice and instant beverages will be available on the Price Kaki app from July 1.
At the same time, the supermarket group announced that it will increase its senior citizen discount to 4% from 3% on July 5.
